The Canadian singer and songwriter made a name for herself as a 13-year-old posting covers to YouTube from home. Ten years later, she’s still there but things have definitely moved on.Cara performed “October,” the closing track from her 2019 EP, the popular animated series in which she voices the character Jane.
Cara also shared some insights into her music-making process. She records voice memos into her phone at any time of the day, and her device is stuffed with “thousands” of cuts.host and his guest also played a round of “One Word Songs,” a game where they hit a popular one word song and sing it with a random word, like switching out Post Malone's"Circles" with “Sweatpants” and flipping Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” with “Waffles.
