'And suddenly out of the blue comes another dig.'
Supermarket giant Aldi has found itself in hot water with some Marks and Spencer shoppers after taking an 'out of the blue dig' at the retailer on social media. Aldi has previously mocked retailers like Tesco and Lidl on its social media platforms, but has a longstanding 'feud' with M&S following two seperate legal cases.
Following these court cases, Aldi has been known to take aim at M&S, seemingly in a lighthearted manner, on its social media channels. Now Aldi has struck again.Posting on Facebook, the supermarket team said: "We are using this International Day of Peace to extend our antennae out to Marks and Spencer." It wasn't long before the post gathered attention from shoppers.
Nicole Walton commented: "Hilarious! This made me laugh more than it should." Charlotte Cooper said: "Glad to see you back Aldi team , that's just made me giggle by the school Gates."
