No matter who helms the United Conservative Party, Albertans seem ready to give the NDP another shot at governing the province, says a new Mainstreet poll.
Respondents were asked how they’d vote in an election with different UCP leaders. In all scenarios, Rachel Notley’s NDP received 36 to 38 per cent support from Albertans, Only 33 per cent of Albertans would support the UCP if the party was led by Danielle Smith, 29 per cent if led by Travis Toews and 26 per cent under Brian Jean.
