Wildfires flourishing in record\u002Dbreaking hot, dry weather forced the evacuation of the entire town of Drayton Valley, west of Edmonton, Thursday night.

A reception centre has been opened at the Fox Lake Band Office for evacuees in the community, about 550 km north of Edmonton.
