Alberta's unemployment rate continued its downward trend last month as jobless rates dipped in both Calgary and Edmonton.
, Alberta had a unemployment rate of 4.8 per cent, down just one-tenth of a percentage point from June when it sat at 4.9 per cent.Edmonton's unemployment rate, meanwhile, plunged to 5.1 per cent in July compared to 5.9 per cent in June., remaining unchanged from June as the country continues to face a labour shortage.
