Alberta's police watchdog investigates officer-involved shooting in northeast Calgary

The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team is investigating after an officer-involved shooting on July 17 in northeast Calgary.Officers were called to the 12100 block of Coventry Hills Way N.E. at 9:45 p.m. after a resident reported that an unknown man with a weapon was in their backyard and trying to get into the house, the Calgary Police Service said in a release.
