Calgary police believe two unknown individuals broke into a residence belonging to an Alberta RCMP member on Tuesday, Sept. 19.

Calgary police believe two unknown individuals broke into a residence belonging to an Alberta RCMP member sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 12 p.m., on the 0 to 100 block of Rowley Terrace N.W., according to a statement released on Wednesday afternoon. The thieves took several pieces of jewelry, handbags, wallets, and multiple RCMP uniforms and boots, the total value of which is over $5,000.
Police added that one of the suspects was seen wearing a red reflective work jacket, and that the two may have been driving a U-Haul truck. "Citizens are reminded that if they have a concern about an individual identifying themselves as a police officer, they can request to see the individual's police badge and photo identification card," read the statement.
