He added that his government is working with the provinces on possibly making Monday a holiday for all workers.The City of Edmonton, as well as local school boards, have said they are also awaiting the province’s announcement before deciding the next steps.Article content The vast majority of workers are provincially regulated, meaning that unless a province signs on to making Monday a holiday, most workers would not get the day off.
