A Health Canada statement provided to Postmedia earlier this month said it received a proposal from the importer “specific to hospital use” in late December, and subsequently gave the go-ahead. The province distributed a photo of Copping standing in front of the medication shipment on Wednesday evening, alongside Deputy Premier Nathan Neudorf and Edmonton International Airport CEO Myron Keehn.
