Jefferson County students got a special pep talk from Alabama football coach Nick Saban to help them get ready for annual spring testing. called the Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Plan or ACAP., Saban encourages students to do their best on the test:
“Hi, I’m Alabama football coach Nick Saban. Our team puts a tremendous amount of effort in preparing for our games each Saturday, and I know you have put a lot of time and effort into your education. With ACAP testing starting soon, I want to remind you how important it is to take the test seriously. Just like our team prepares each week, you must prepare for success on this test. That means making sure you’re getting enough sleep each night and starting your day with a healthy breakfast.
In the post, the district credits Kermit Johnson Elementary School teacher Jacqueline Byers for working with Saban’s staff to produce the video.
