Another one of Al Ahly's stars has found himself in hot water, having just been handed a 12-game ban.In January, the Red Devils came up against bitter rivals Zamalek in the league as they looked to further extend their lead at the top of the log. That game marked forward Kahraba's return from a lengthy suspension, and the 28-year-old marksman made a triumphant comeback to the starting XI, capping off his Man of the Match performance by opening the scoring in a 3-0 Ahly victory.
After the game, however, the Egypt international was seen making obscene chants directed at fans of the White Knights with some of the Red Devils faithful, and following the incident, Zamalek submitted a complaint to the Egyptian Football Association against the striker.According to, the EFA has officially handed the former Zamalek striker a 12-game ban, while also fining him 1 million Egyptian pounds for his actions after the Cairo derby.
The record African champions and their striker, however, do have 10 days to appeal the decision taken against them, something they have already done.
