The AJAC awards are determined by a group of nearly 50 Canadian automotive writers from across the country who specialize in vehicle reviews, and must drive a vehicle to vote on it. More than 250 vehicles were eligible for evaluation, including all-new vehicles, refreshed models, or those currently on sale.

“AJAC journalists submitted more than 1,700 ballots based on real-world test drives, and produced this list of winners presented today in collaboration with the Montreal Auto Show,” said Michel Crépault, president of AJAC. “In producing these results, our journalist members demonstrated fierce dedication to their craft, informing Canadian drivers of the vehicles worthy of their purchase consideration in 2023.
