. As there is no four-wheel drive ProMaster, it's front-wheel drive only. The nearly 21-foot ProMaster can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Airstream sees the car-like, maneuverable ProMaster as befitting for day use and short-haul weekend adventures for small families. It's #vanlife, but maybe not sell-the-house, travel-the-world van life.Although not lacking in content by any means, the Rangeline could be considered Airstream's entry-level, economical Class B.
Interestingly, there is no propane tank onboard the Rangeline. The 3.2-cu.-ft. refrigerator, 0.4-cu.-ft. freezer, and stowable 1,000-watt single-burner induction stovetop are electric. There's a 2.8-kW gas generator that sips gas from the ProMaster's 24-gallon gas tank. The generator powers the 13,500-BTU air conditioner and can kick on when needed. Heater and water heater duties are handled by a Timberline 2.
Airstream knows adventure-seekers tend to be dog-lovers. There's a leash holder on the passenger-side running board and integrated pull-out dog bowls under the fridge. Just for fun, the fridge features a dry-erase surface, and there's a portable JBL speaker mounted under some overhead storage cabinets at the front.
