In a tweet at 1:37 p.m., Pearson airport said that the outage is impacting check-in, baggage delivery and gating. The tweet added that “Air Canada passengers are encouraged to check-in online before leaving for the airport.” Just before 2 p.m. Air Canada confirmed its IT issues are affecting airport check-in at Pearson airport, urging customers to “check in on through mobile or on the web before going to the airport.”This is a developing story.
