On Wednesday, the Sunrisers captain put on yet another knockout batting master-class against the Joburg outfit, having done the same two years ago at the same venue against the same team.Two years later, the 30-year-old right-hander smashed an unbeaten 62 off 40 balls under immense pressure, an innings which saw the right-handed batter strike five fours and two enormous sixes.
The 24-year-old all-rounder Jansen carried his form into his new-ball spell, dismissing Devon Conway just as he was starting to run away with the game in the first Powerplay.Despite the wicket, the Super Kings managed to put on 49/1 in the first Powerplay, with Faf du Plessis and debutant JP King in the middle.
