But domestic abuse charity Refuge said the safety of women and girls has been “forgotten” at the global AI Safety Summit taking place in Bletchley Park this week.set out the capabilities and potential risks posed by AI in a speech ahead of the landmark summit, from cyber attacks and fraud to an increase in child sexual abuse images.
“I think it’d be naive to think this is only happening in one school in Spain. The charity said is it “extremely disappointing” that no organisations tackling violence against women and girls appear to have been invited to the Prime Minister’s AI summit. She called for the Government to discuss how women and girls can be protected from AI, technology being used to enable “intimate image abuse and other forms of technology-facilitated domestic abuse”.
