Star Wars: Anakin played by Hayden Christensen, Padme by Natalie Portman, and Ahsoka by Rosario Dawson
This stunning Clone Wars cosplay, posted by snippycosplay on Instagram, is a perfect reminder both of how brilliant The Clone Wars was and how unique the relationship between these two Star Wars characters proved to be. In fact, the cosplay even refers to Padmé and Ahsoka as mother and daughter, highlighting how special their bond was.
Highlights As this Instagram post points out, Padmé sadly never got to be a mother to Leia, but she did have a maternal dynamic with Ahsoka; in fact, The Clone Wars revealed just how pivotal Ahsoka was not only to Padmé but also to Anakin. Ahsoka Tano Truly Was A Necessary Addition To Star Wars Close Ahsoka Tano's introduction in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie was met with a fair bit of controversy. In part, this was because audiences initially disliked her sassy, sarcastic attitude. However, many took issue with the fact that the Star Wars prequel trilogy hadn't indicated that Anakin Skywalker had a Padawan, although it was George Lucas himself who had wanted Anakin to have one.
Ahsoka also made it clear that Anakin had issues with attachment far beyond just his relationship with Padmé. He repeatedly told Ahsoka that he wouldn't let anything happen to her, which was not in keeping with the Jedi way. Ahsoka was also important in Padmé's character development, as The Clone Wars shed more light upon Padmé's kindhearted nature and impressive abilities as a leader in her dynamic and storylines with Ahsoka.
