More than 870 kg of narcotics and 208 firearms are among the tallies released by the Canada Border Services Agency concerning SOR crossings.

Additionally, 105 individuals were taken into custody for impaired driving offence. Due to their backgrounds of “serious criminality,” 1,256 individuals were refused entry to Canada at those crossings, where agents also seized more than $1.18 million in undeclared currency.Article content Contraband and criminals aren’t the only concerns of the CBSA, which also monitors and processes cross-border trade and traffic.
According to the CBSA, the total value of the goods transported by those trucks exceeded $215 billion.
