Breaking local news in Boksburg
Sheree Buitendach and her wife Chanelle , of Boksburg South, have started a Back-a-Buddy account as the road rage incident they were involved in last year continues to affect them, especially financially.
The driver knocked them off their scooter at the intersection of North Rand and Herman Pieters roads. Sheree suffered minor injuries to her legs, but Chanelle broke her left arm and underwent surgery on May 3. “We received the news we dreaded – the bone was still not healing properly, and the plate was not made to keep a broken arm intact forever,” said Sheree, adding the doctor advised another operation would be necessary.
This meant Chanelle would require another lengthy recovery period, and the couple was forced to take more time off work. The couple, both surveillance officers, found themselves struggling to keep afloat financially during this difficult time.
