If the removal does happen, it would make Ross the 10th Senate-confirmed Cabinet member to leave the administration, on top of dozens of senior officials, including two chiefs of staff, two national security advisers, the Federal Bureau of Investigation director, the National Economic Council director, the chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, two press secretaries, and five communications directors.
