The artist was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed away in the Life Wilgers hospital in Pretoria.
The 24-year-old Afrikaans rap artist Angie Oeh from Oos Moot, Pretoria, has died after she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.Her manager, Wynand Myburgh, confirmed the shocking news.
He said after the second chemotherapy session on Friday she began to struggle with low oxygen levels in her blood and was admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit. “Many thanks to everyone who supported the Backabuddy campaign. There are still a lot of bills to be paid, but the overwhelming support also helped Angie a lot with her mood during her cancer battle.”
“For the first time in a long time, there was something in Afrikaans that challenged people and the culture to grow.”
