Created by a multicultural team – Mehrnaz Abdollahinia , Feben Elias Woldehawariat , Razahk Issaka , Celeste Jamneck , Yi Liu – the film is a humorous fable set in a small village governed by ridiculous liberticidal laws, that denounces the harsh condition of women that still exists in many countries around the world.
The creative team behind The Soloists: Feben Elias Woldehawariat , Mehrnaz Abdollahinia , Yi Liu , Celeste Jamneck , and Razahk Issaka .– a grant financially supporting and enrolling students on the two-year Master of Arts in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking course at Gobelins in Paris. "The African Animation community is gaining incredible traction, and it's clear that we as a community have powerful voices and incredible talent!"
"As a team, we were also so diverse in our experiences and culture, but we all resonated with the idea of women fighting for freedom - and we all agreed it was a story that needed to be told," she adds.
