Africa has been responsible for between 3.4% and 3.8% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions in the past two decades – the smallest contributor of all regions.Dada Morero | Finding the right energy solution to the country’s power crisis “Now Africa isn’t allowed to enjoy the glory of these discoveries and the world says we’re not allowed to use them,” she said. “We must have energy security before we can consider switching to green energy.”
However, the country is dependent on investment to build more refining facilities to meet its export goals.
