French President Emmanuel Macron addresses the Summit for a New Global Financial Pact in Paris, France in June 2023."I do not think we can completely change our system but we can make it much better," Mr Macron said.

The realities of today's world call for the mobilisation of more funds and the reorganisation of global financial systems, he added.
Charging the crowd, she said it was important that the world move to action in light of the new realities. She noted that the summit was a summon to question if the world has the capacity and will to bring peace and scope to the problem. She noted that this summit is not only for money but for the reform of the world's systems because when these institutions were founded, our countries did not exist.
