AFRICA'S TOP 10: Major hierarchy shift in latest FIFA rankings

There has been a major shift in Africa's football hierarchy following the latest world rankings released by FIFA.

Morocco maintained their spot as the best team on the continent with a ranking of 14th in the world, while Senegal maintained their status as the second-strongest team on the continent despite dropping two places in their overall position. Just behind the pair are Egypt, who climbed a whopping five places, along with Ivory Coast and Tunisia, who also catapulted themselves higher up the African standing. South Africa is another nation to have dropped, moving two spots down in the overall ranking, seeing them move down from 10th spot to 11th on the continent.
