The Afghanistan Cricket Board and Cricket South Africa have announced that Sharjah will host the first ever bilateral three-match ODI series between the nations in September.
Afghanistan’s incredible rise through the ranks to become a full member of the ICC is one of the great modern success stories in the growth of the game. South Africa will play two Tests and three Twenty20 Internationals against the West Indies in the Caribbean before their series against Afghanistan and Ireland. Proceedings get underway in the coming week.
