Warner Bros. Discovery Q2 Results Hit By 'The Flash' And Soft Ad Climate, But Free Cash Flow Doubles To $1.7B
Streaming revenue increased 13% as the total number of subscribers climbed 6% year-over-year to 11 million. That tally declined by 200,000 from the first quarter, however, a drop the company chalked up to “our continued focus on higher value subscribers and promotional roll-off.” Another 300,000 subscribers were dropped from the total because of a change during the quarter to the way the company defines a streaming subscriber.
