Crews battling a house fire in an east Columbus neighborhood rescued two people and a dog just before noon Sunday

Just before noon, fire crews were called to the 1400 block of Benson Avenue just before noon Sunday where a house had reportedly caught fire. One adult and one child were pulled from the house fire. The adult was taken to OSU Main Hospital, and the child was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital.Crews are on scene working to extinguish the fire.
