Adele says goodbye to fans as she announces 'big break' from music
Adele will be saying hello from the other side as the British singer announced that she will be taking a long break from music and performing.
During the final show of her European tour in Munich, Germany, the singer told fans it was time for a break after more than two years of touring and performing.“I just need a rest and I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now. I want to live my new life that I've been building," said the singer, who confirmed last month that she's engaged to American sports agent Rich Paul.
The singer said that she will hold her fans dear to her heart despite not performing and making music. “I will not see you for an incredibly long time and I will hold you dear in my heart for the whole of my break. And I will fantasise about these shows and any shows that I have done over the last three years."Adele's Munich concert broke records with sales of more than 730 000 tickets.
“I've really enjoyed performing for nearly three years now, which is the longest I've ever done and probably the longest I would ever do.”Adele fears she’s 'a bad parent' for letting her gamer son spend so much time online “I definitely would like a couple more kids,” she said in a 2022 interview. “It would be wonderful. If not, I've got Angelo.”The singer will be ending her tour in November in Las Vegas.
