The SNL vet’s daughter, Sunny, takes the lead as Sadie ready for her Bat Mitzvah along with her best friend. Things take an unexpected turn when she sees her best friend kissing her crush, causing a war between the two.
Another critic, Fred Topel from United Press International, believes this will be a memorable, quotable movie for young viewers. It appears we’ve got a coming-of-age classic on our hands. It’s true that the Rotten Tomatoes rating can realistically change once the movie hits Netflix on August 25.
