Adam Sandler and Timothée Chalamet were spotted in New York City on Thursday, playing a game of three-on-three basketball.
Sometimes the most unexpected combinations are the most delightful: think French fries and ice cream; honey and pepperoni; watermelon and spice. Add to the list:, with a light sprinkle of pick-up basketball and a dash of broin’ around to tie the whole thing together.. Sandler, 56, sported a gray t-shirt emblazoned with “let me ask my wife,” while Chalamet, 27, kept things slogan-free in a plain t-shirt and cargo shorts made of sweatpants material. Both had meticulously scrunched white socks.
The cherry on top of this very casual Thursday sundae, to continue our culinary metaphor, is that Chalamet appears to have bought his shoes on the way to the game: He wasshowing up in a different pair of sneakers and holding a Foot Locker bag. In the photos of the game, he’s wearing a gleaming pair of brand-new Adidas Trae Young 2.0 shoes, and the shoebox can be spotted in the background.
