Motivated by their heartache, Howell and others who knew the victims are using this experience as a catalyst for change.he and others created as an action campaign, with the aim of raising funds that will support causes promoting awareness about road rage. The funds will also be utilized to take a look at existing state laws on the matter.

"If there are changes that are needed in our law, I'd like to be at the forefront of making those changes," said Sen. Todd Weiler . Highlighting the need for improved tracking of road rage incidents, Sen. Weiler acknowledged the current inadequacy in monitoring the motivation behind traffic tickets and collisions.

While prosecutors hold discretion based on how charges are filed, Weiler acknowledged the concern for more specific legislation targeting road rage. Expressing support for the overall cause in the wake of the deaths of Rodney and Meesha, Howell said, "There's a lot of people that will become part of a movement where we can continue to make a difference and hopefully even save some lives."Weiler plans to meet with the victims’ families to address their concerns and discuss potential legislative measures. The GoFundMe campaign has already raised over $10,000, demonstrating the community's support for their cause.
