The world isn't inclusive enough, particularly for people with impaired vision. Acoustic touch could be the break they deserve.
A team of researchers from the University of Technology Sydney and the University of Sydney unveiled the results of their investigation into the effectiveness of acoustic touch for individuals with low or no vision. 14 adult participants were subjected to a comprehensive evaluation study. Seven had low vision or were blind, while the other seven were sighted participants who were blindfolded to serve as a control group.
