A’ja Wilson had 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Las Vegas Aces to an 85–71 victory over the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals.

So we might as well go win on the road.”“A’ja cussed me out before the game. That’s all I needed,” Plum said. “About time I joined the party. They carried us all week. It’s good to hit some shots, but we have one more.
Connecticut, which finished 27 of 64 from the field, had four players in double digits, led by Courtney Williams with 18. Looking to establish an offensive presence early, both teams pushed the pace early, trading buckets to a 10–10 tie until the Aces seized momentum and used an 11–4 run to open a seven-point advantage. Las Vegas hit 55% from the floor in the first quarter while the Sun struggled to a 35% clip, hitting just 7 of 20.

Official Jailed in Killing of Las Vegas Reporter Had 2020 ArrestAn elected official accused of killing a Las Vegas investigative journalist in what authorities allege was retaliation for articles critical of him and his office faced court sanctions two years ago for resisting arrest in a domestic violence case. The case was dismissed and closed in March 2021 after Telles paid a fine, attended counseling and stayed out of trouble.
