Photo: Michel BegaWestern Cape conference was marred by a rather unpleasant accommodation dilemma when hotel rooms meant for delegates were occupied by “friends of delegates”.
“Comrades are sitting in hotels. The problem they are creating is that some of them are friends of delegates,” the convener said. The provincial convener’s plan of action was met with some delegates smugly waving the keys to their hotel rooms.
