A ridiculously long automobile made up of multiple Cadillac Eldorado limousines has been awarded a GuinnessWorldRecord.
“It’s not for everyday driving, obviously,” Michael Manning says as he stands in front of the 100-foot-long car that he helped to restore.
The American Dream, as it’s called, has 26 wheels and enough space to hold around 75 people. It includes a waterbed, a swimming pool with a diving board, a jacuzzi, a mini-golf course, and even a specially strengthened helipad. And yes, it has a working engine, too. For reasons that aren’t immediately clear , the absurdly long vehicle was eventually abandoned in a New Jersey warehouse.
First they had to get the dilapidated car to Orlando, a process that involved splitting it into two pieces and loading them onto trailers for the long drive south.
