'Absolutely barbaric': Three dogs burnt to death after SPCA vehicle set alight in Margate
A case of cruelty to animals is being probed by KwaZulu-Natal police after a Ford Bantam bakkie belonging to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was set alight, with three dogs trapped inside, in the Uvongo area of Margate , on the south coast.
KwaZulu-Natal SAPS spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said police in Margate had opened a case of cruelty to animals after confirming that they had found three burnt carcasses of dogs inside the vehicle.
