The colourful new mural is a collaboration between Cabot Circus, Aardman and Upfest.
By Chloe Harcombe and PA MediaThe 11.5m high mural on Quakers Lane is a collaboration between Cabot Circus, Aardman and street art festival, Upfest.
It was created by artist, Dave Bain, based on original artwork by Aardman illustrator, Lorna Harrington. Mr Bain said: "This mural is a brilliant example of what can be achieved by working together as a creative community."The design aims to capture "the iconic characteristics of joy and energy" of each Aardman character
"Lorna provided a great initial illustration for this piece, and it was inspiring to see the process of how Aardman's animations are created in the process," he added. Aardman characters Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Gromit and Morph can be seen in the mural, alongside famous Bristol landmarks, including Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol Children's Hospital and the colourful houses by the Harbourside.Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Gromit and Morph can be seen in the mural, alongside famous Bristol landmarksPeter Lord, the co-creator of Morph, has visited the mural with a model of the beloved terracotta plasticine character.
