The Department is expected to officially announce the November prices in a few days.
The Automobile Association says data from the Central Energy Fund shows that the price of petrol will rise by between 14 cents and 25 cents a litre depending on the grade, while diesel is expected to increase by 22 cents per litre.
The price of illuminating paraffin is expected to be 21 cents a litre more in November than it is now. The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources is expected to officially announce the November prices in the coming days before the increase is effected from the 6th of November. AA spokesperson Eleanor Mavimbela says, “Current unaudited data from the Central Energy Fund indicates an increase for all grades of fuel in November.
