A59 Myerscough Smithy Road in both directions closed, heavy traffic due to accident between A677 Preston New Road and A59 .A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "We’re currently at the scene of a road closure on the A59, Myerscough Smithy Road in Balderstone, Blackburn.
"The road is closed due to a road traffic collision and will be closed for some time. We’ll provide an update once cleared and thank you in advance for your patience."
