Waffle House isn’t coming to San Antonio. But it may come 58 miles away in Kyle.
PATRICK T. FALLON/AFP via Getty Imagesisn’t coming to San Antonio. There is, however, a strong chance that the 24-hour breakfast spot will be located 58 miles away if city officials in Kyle approve the chain’s plans to build the restaurant there.
Last week, efforts to build a 1,791-square-foot restaurant just off Interstate 35 won initial approval from a city planning board. The project at 5767 Kyle Parkway still needs approval from the Kyle City Council to become reality.
