The dog-friendly cafe is set to be a real hit judging by the response on day one

Pasties and scones with clotted cream are amongst the Cornish delights on sale at Nottingham's newest bakery and cafe. The Cornish Bakery has chosen the city for its 61st location, opening in the former Jack Wills

"We have been desperate for this place to open. We've been asking for years 'when are you going to open a branch in Nottingham?' It's really good coffee. We've had chocolate twists and I've had a pistachio croissant today, which was really good. Normally I go for a custard tart, they are amazing."is dog-friendly, they were joined by their pet Schnoodle called Chewy.

The Cornish Bakery has its own unique product - Cornish Pudding. The indulgent bake is a mixture of different pastries, creamy custard, chocolate chunks and blueberries. Martyn said:"It's something that looks absolutely delicious and tastes amazing, especially with clotted cream." He said:"This is our 61st. The closest ones to here are Bakewell and Stamford. Nottingham is a beautiful city. We're bringing good coffee. There are similar businesses but nothing quite like what we do. We proof and bake almost everything we do. Our pasties are baked fresh every day on site."
