A Resident Evil series coming to Netflix
co-showrunner Andrew Dabb and produced by Constantin Film.
According to the publication, the series will tell a new story across two timelines. The first timeline will follow 14-year-old sisters Jade and Bille Wesker who move to New Raccoon City, a manufactured, corporate town. They soon realise that the town is more than what it seems and that their father could be hiding dark secrets.
In the second timeline, which is a decade into the future, there are less than 15 million people left on Earth and more than 6 billion monsters. Jade, now 30, has to survive this new world, while secrets from her past haunt her. The 8 x 1 hour episode season will be helmed by Andrew Dabb , Bronwen Hughes will direct the first two episodes.
