“How can one university claim ownership on a greeting? That would be as ridiculous as saying ‘sup’ is exclusive to U of H. Have any of you heard this claim before and can you provide some insight?,” the Reddit user asked in their post.Aggie terminology “It's more of a formally recognized part of Aggie culture but ‘howdy’ is not exclusive to A&M. I say it frequently in San Antonio and often get it back as a response,” said Reddit user Tight_Vegetable_2113.
