on Kloof Street is a cafe that is characterised by a flavourful hybrid of French flair, styling and authenticity with a typically rustic South African approach to cooking. This dynamic blend comes as a result of the meeting of the cafe’s owners, Agnes and the late Chef Jonny.Agnes grew up on the French island of Corsica and has international culinary experience in France, London, Dubai and America.
Chef Jonny, a proud South African, was born in Citrusdal and had vast international and fine dining experience. The couple met in London before moving back to Cape Town to bless our city with Manna Epicure. Sadly, Chef Jonny passed away in 2017, but Agnes and the rest of her team keep Manna Epicure alive in his honour.Manna Epicure offers delicious French-inspired delicacies from their bakery.
