Customers of all major banks and building societies can carry out regular cash transactions at the new hub
A new banking hub is set to open in Stapleford and local shoppers think it’s a positive for the town. The new Banking Hub in Stapleford will be located on Derby Road, in the former MacLaren Warner law firm site.
The new hub will also offer a Community Banker service where customers can talk to their own banking provider about more complicated issues, Monday to Friday, from 9am until 5pm. The Community Bankers will work on rotation, with a different bank or building society available on each day of the week.Cash Access has yet to confirm an opening date however, building work on the new site is underway. Helen Newham, from Sandiacre, “I think it’s a good idea.
“Thank you to Darren Henry MP and the team and everyone else that’s been involved in making it happen. It’s pretty central on the high street so it’s going to be easy for people to access.” “Despite people saying it’s like a Post Office because that’s part of it. There isn’t a Post Office counter in there. People can’t drop off parcels, they can’t buy stamps so it won't have a post office counter service, it’s purely a banking hub.”
