In the latest cultural casualty of the Russian invasion, a Mariupol museum dedicated to one of Ukraine’s most important Realist painters has reportedly been destroyed.

The museum’s collection includes photographs and other ephemera related to Kuindzhi’s life, including the 200-year-old baptismal font in which he had been christened.
