A new R1.9 billion industrial and logistic devolpment is coming to Durban.

The R1.9 billion Giba Business Estate is currently in development in Durban after breaking ground in August.

“With this project alone, we intend to create about 492 jobs during the construction phase and about 4 661 permanent jobs post-construction,” Kaunda said. The development will have 220,000 square meters of platformed sites of various sizes, providing 22 sites to the light industry, warehousing, and allied logistics sectors.
