Off to an iconic start, the global tour’s first night signals a new chapter for the pop sensationOff to an iconic start, the global tour’s first night signals a new chapter for the pop sensationAdding world domination to her list of things to do, pop star Kim Petras kicked off her “Feed the Beast” world tour in Austin on September 28th.
Petra’s new world tour is the biggest production for the singer, who just released a surprise version of her quintessentialalbum ahead of the highly anticipated event. Broken up into five sections, the show is based on the story ofand is led by director Will Baker and choreographers Brian and Scott Nicholson .
Aside from the catchy lyrics and hypnotic dance moves, the costume design was as showstopping as ever, with Petras even taking on the role of her alter ego “Hans”, a character who wears a hyperrealistic, muscled silicone body suit making an appearance during the performance after Kim begins to sing a theatrically soporific version of her early hit “Hillside Boys”.
