On Nov. 10, Field of Crosses is having its Night of Lights ceremony, which will see lanterns placed on each cross at sunset where they will remain until sunrise on Remembrance Day. During the day on Nov. 10, only volunteers will be allowed on site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Article content On Nov. 11, the Field of Crosses annual Remembrance Day ceremony will start at 10 a.m. Memorial Drive will be closed to vehicle access from 9 a.m. onwards and parking is limited to the lot directly next to the park.The helicopter landing area behind the museum will host this year’s Hangar Flight Museum Remembrance Day ceremony, which begins at 10:30 a.m. It is an outdoor service with admittance starting at 9:30 a.m. The museum will open for guests at 12 p.m. by donation.

A drive to the mountains will be met by a parade put on by the Banff Legion at 10:30 a.m. The route starts at Banff Elementary then heads east along Elk Street before meeting Banff Avenue and continuing south to the Banff Legion.
